Welcome To My Online Portfolio
A short introduction, my name is Nia Nguyen(win), as you can see from the title of this site, and I reside in the Bay Area in the beautiful state of California. Raised in Iowa(a Hawkeye through and through), I also lived in Florida for some years all in the pursuit of the perfect job.
Since I can remember I've always been interested in art and illustration. My first love was comic book illustration which all my childhood teachers can atest to. My favorite medium to this day is still pencil and pen, but I've also evolved my skills into the digital medium as well.
Relocating to California in 2001 with the encouragement of my friends, I landed a job as a Designer for a retail company to be named at a later date and still employed as of this writing.
I created this site in the hopes of establishing a freelance base outside of my 9 to 5 because I still feel the need to exercise some of my other talents and lets be honest, the extra income is also an incentive.

I Got Skillz
I truly enjoy illustrating, everything from abstract to realistic.
Although I'm a Mac person I'm also very comfortable with the PC.
Program list: Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXpress, Streamline, CorelDraw, Freehand, PageMaker, Word, PowerPoint.
Having worked in production I'm very knowledgeable in offset printing and with years in the t-shirt business I'm very adept at color separation.
